About University

The history of the Moscow state university of medicine and dentistry (MSUMD) originates in the 19th century, from the I.M. Kovarsky Moscow's first dental surgery school opened in 1892 and become subsequently the House of the Soviet dental care. The new power was faced by a complex challenge of the organization of the dental surgery and dental care to the population.
The main area of activity of MSUMD was and there is a training of the qualified medical specialists. The outstanding scientists who have brought glory to university, medical science, Russia helped to solve this problem throughout all history of higher education institution are: N. A. Semashko, P. G. Dauge, M. B. Yankovsky, A. I. Evdokimov. Thanks to their efforts the dental care became medical discipline.
History of MSUMD is rich with many significant events. For example in February, 1920 in the building of the I.M. Kovarsky dental surgery school were formed nstitutions which were located in various ends of Moscow earlier have been joint. The indicative out-patient clinic, chemical laboratory, dental school have merged in the scientific dental surgery center which has been called the House of the Soviet dental care (HSDC). Tasks of training of instructors of a dental care from among doctors of an old formation, subsidiary personnel of various categories, including technicians-prosthetists, technicians for filling a tooth tooth, tooth sisters were assigned to HSDC. In April, 1922 the House of the Soviet dental care has been renamed into the State institute of a dental care which director was M. B. Yankovsky.

ADMISSION

1) when admitting to study within the framework of check digits for undergraduate programs and specialty programs, the following admission periods are set:

the deadline for accepting documents required for admission is June 20 ;
the deadline for the acceptance of documents required for admission from persons entering the training based on the results of additional entrance examinations of a professional orientation is July 25 ;
the deadline for accepting documents required for admission from people entering the training according to the results of other entrance tests conducted by the University independently is July 10 ;
the deadline for completion of entrance examinations conducted by the University independently, for the completion of acceptance of documents required for admission from persons entering the study course without passing the specified entrance examinations (hereinafter referred to as the day of completion of acceptance of documents and entrance examinations) is July 26 .

2) information on the deadlines for the acceptance of applications for consent to enrollment at each stage of enrollment:

August 1, 2020 at 18.0 0 - the acceptance of applications for consent to enrollment from persons included in the lists entering the main competitive places and wishing to be enrolled in the first stage of enrollment in the main competitive places ends;
the second stage of enrollment in the main competitive places:
August 6, 2020 at 18.00 - the acceptance of applications for consent to enrollment from persons included in the lists of applicants for the main competitive places ends.

3) upon admission to study under contracts for the provision of paid educational services, the following admission periods shall be established:

the deadline for accepting documents required for admission is June 20 ;
the deadline for accepting documents required for admission from people entering the training according to the results of entrance tests conducted by the University independently is July 10 ;
the deadline for accepting documents required for admission from individuals entering the training without passing the specified entrance examinations (hereinafter referred to as the deadline for accepting documents) is August 14 .
